Forbes Group takes over CPS Staging

Forbes Group has acquired CPS Staging from CPS Manufacturing Co. Forbes Group has been selling the same portable staging as CPS for decades, and so the acquisition was a natural progression, as we are already familiar with the products. The takeover makes Forbes Group the sole UK distributor for staging from Kleu GmbH.

Portable Staging

Portable staging is sold in units that are locked together to form the stage size that is required. The stage surfaces can be finished in wood, laminate or carpet. Stage edges can have wooden fascia or stage skirting. There is a choice of static or adjustable legs.

Accessories like chair rails, hand rails, bracing and steps are then added to a package. Accessibility ramps can be ordered to fit your stage and spares that can be ordered for stages include Klemmfix connectors, clamps, legs, spacers, power sockets and storage trolleys.

Forbes Group is also supplying the stage curtain and backdrop system that was originally developed by CPS Staging. These can be used by theatre and drama groups to create a complete theatrical stage.

Custom stages can be set up in showrooms, stadiums, theatres or churches. These are designed to fit within the architecture of the building.

About CPS Staging

CPS Staging provided demountable staging to schools, universities, churches, public sector, conferences & event suppliers and hospitality firms for many years. They also provided a custom build service and sold spares and accessories. Forbes Group have taken over the existing contracts and will be continuing to provide the same quality service that customers from CPS manufacturing are familiar with.

If you are an existing customer of CPS Staging and you require any help with your stage, please contact our sales teams who will be pleased to guide you through the process.
